Sneakemail Android App

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the Sneakemail Android App (the "App"), developed by Christopher Stone, handles your information. The App is a mobile client for the Sneakemail web service (sneakemail.com), which is operated independently by its respective owner.

The App is designed with privacy in mind. It does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data with the developer or any third party. All email address management is handled directly by the Sneakemail service under its own terms and privacy policy.

The App does not collect usage data, crash reports, analytics, advertising identifiers, or any other telemetry. There is no tracking of any kind.

3. Third-Party Services and Libraries

The App uses the following open-source libraries, none of which collect or transmit your data:

The App does not include Firebase, Google Analytics, AdMob, Crashlytics, or any other analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.

All network communication is between your device and sneakemail.com only. The developer receives no data from this communication.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your Sneakemail credentials are stored on your device using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences, which encrypts data at rest using AES-256-GCM. The encryption keys are managed by the Android Keystore system and are tied to your device.

No other personal data is stored by the App. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored credentials.

5. Android Permissions

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core function:

No other permissions (camera, contacts, location, microphone, storage, etc.) are requested or used.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be published on the Google Play Store listing and at this URL. The effective date above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
